Workshops & Classes

Given his capabilities and engaging personality, Washington Ledesma makes for a great teacher of art in its many manifestations.

As the 2005 Joyce Johnson Chair at the Castle Hill Truro Center for the Arts in Truro, MA Washington has twice taught his Master Class on "Clay as an Expression of Self: Creating the Decorative Surface". He still is in touch with many of the adult students in those courses who keep engaging him in different projects they are working on.
At Featherstone Center for the Arts on Martha's Vineyard Washington is teaching a course in Oil Painting to adults. He also is an  Artist-in-Residence at the Martha's Vineyard Charter School where his teenage students learn about "Working as an Artist" on how to transfer ones thoughts and ideas onto different surfaces.
